Cost of Living Crisis

The cost of living crisis affects us all, especially during the festive season. That’s why Turton’s has partnered with our local South Shields food bank, Hospitality & Hope, to raise awareness and gather essential food and funds for a warm Christmas for everyone.

To make a significant impact, we need your support, South Tyneside residents and businesses. Turton’s is committed to contributing by not only donating to the charity but also offering services for convenient collection, storage, and delivery of items in the region. We’ll be reaching out to businesses for additional support, but your help in spreading the message throughout the region and beyond is crucial.

I, Ben Turton, am personally committed to a sponsored run before Christmas to further raise funds for Hospitality & Hope. Keep an eye out for donation links. If you prefer cash donations over food, you can contribute via JustGiving, with every penny going directly to the charity.

If you’re an SME or work in an office space, consider placing a donation box in the canteen with the provided list. Contact us via WhatsApp to arrange a collection date. At home, take a moment to check your tinned food cupboard for in-date items to donate. It doesn’t have to be new – as long as it’s labelled and in date, it’s good to go. Let’s come together to make a difference this Christmas and support the cost of living crisis together.
